Pampanga Business (pampangabusiness.com) is an independent publication based in Pampanga, Philippines. We decide how the personal information described here is used. For any privacy question or request, email hello@pampangabusiness.com.
What we collect
- Get Featured form: your name, business name, town, type of business, email, mobile number (optional), your story and any photos you upload.
- Contact form: your name, email, the topic and your message.
- With every form submission: your IP address and browser details, which help us spot spam and abuse.
- When you visit: our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and author pictures from Gravatar, so your browser connects to their servers.
- In your browser: the site remembers, for that browser session only, that you have already seen the loading screen. This stays on your device.
We don't use advertising cookies. If we add website analytics, we will update this policy before it starts.
Why we use it
- To reply to your message or request.
- To consider, prepare and publish a feature about your business, with your agreement.
- To keep the website secure and free of spam.
We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Only our team. Your information is stored with our website and email host, Hostinger, which processes it for us. We only publish details about you or your business with your agreement, and we don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We delete form submissions 12 months after our last contact with you. A published feature stays online until you ask us to change or remove it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:- be informed about how your information is used
- access the information we hold about you
- have it corrected if it is wrong
- have it erased or blocked
- object to how we use it
- receive a copy in a format you can reuse
- claim damages if it is misused
- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission

Keeping it safe
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to form submissions is limited to our team, and our admin area is protected against repeated login attempts.

When our practices change, we update this page and the date at the top.
